The UH-Six Sigma Program administered through a partnership between the College of Technology and the Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center. This program is based on the teachings of North Carolina State University’s Six Sigma program and is designed to assist businesses with implementing a quality improvement initiative within their own organizations.

  • For small to medium sized organizations, we can:
    • Provide Six Sigma training and certification for your employees
    • Act as a champion or mentor for your Six Sigma projects
  • For large organizations, we can:
    • Help deploy a company-wide initiative to improve quality
    • Develop an internal training program for your organization

Team Approach - The UH-TMAC partnerships provides a team approach to training and implementation support. Our training instructors and project mentors are experts in their respective subject areas and are assigned to courses and projects based on our customer's needs.

Full Service Provider - Our goal is to HELP organizations implement quality improvement initiatives and SUPPORT their efforts in every way possible. To fulfill this mission, our program offerings include:

  • Training - Different levels of training courses including Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.
  • Certification - A test of course material comprehension and often the successful completion of a project is required.
  • Project Mentoring - Experts that can come on-site and assist with your projects
    • As part of our training courses
    • In advance of or following training courses
